The Canadian Canoe Museum has been offering a variety of summer paddling day camps and multi-day canoe trips for youth ages 8 to 14 for over 10 years. Whether your child is a novice paddler or a seasoned canoe enthusiast, there is a camp for everyone.

Camps are based on the Ontario Recreational Canoeing and Kayaking Association (ORCKA) principles and skill levels.
The camps are popular! Register your child asap or you may have to put their name on a waitlist. Choose from:
- Basics of canoeing one day camp June 29th for ages 8-10
- ORCKA Level 1 four-day camp July 3rd to July 6th, ages 10-13
- ORCKA Levels 2/3/4 five-day camp July 9th to 14th ages 11-14
- ORCKA Levels 1/2 five-day camp July 16th to July 20th ages 10-13
- Basics of Canoeing one day camp July 18th Ages 8-10
- Boys Kawartha Highlands five-day canoe trip July 23-July 27 ages 11-13
- Girls Kawartha Highlands five-day canoe trip July 30-Aug. 3rd ages 11-13
- Learn to Camp 4 days/2 overnights Aug.7th to Aug. 10th ages 8-10.
- End of Summer Day Camp Aug. 27th to Aug 31st ages 8-10.

If your child’s interest in canoeing makes you a little envious, why not take lessons yourself? It is never too late. Adult classes are offered throughout May to August and include Basic Canoeing Levels 1, 2, 3 and 4 as well as the opportunity for custom courses.
